My lesson at WLC were a very positive experience for me. My teacher is an excellent teacher and has a wonderful manner that put me totally at ease and provided a great learning environment. She was very flexible in adjusting my lessons as we went along so that they fit my needs exactly. I feel I made excellent progress overall and also was able to resolve some long term issues I've had with the language. The fact that my teacher is a native French speaker is a real pluls as well. It helped improve my hearing and understanding of the language. I would definitely resume y instructions if/when my finances permit.

I have been taking classes at the World Language Center for two years now and I can honestly say that it has accelerated my ability to learn a new language. I had been studying Japanese on my own for a year prior to coming to WLC, but it was not as productive as my first few months studying with the native-speaking teachers at WLC. Their method of immersion during the lessons has helped me to apply what I have learned and allowed me to become conversational in the language. After attending in-class instruction at their facilities in Marlborough, I started receiving instruction via their online classes. My job often requires me to longer hours, so the ability to do the classes over the interenet allows me the flexibility to do it from the office or from home. And the time I save on travel is priceless for me, which actually allows me more time to devote to my Japanese studies. The teachers at WLC are as comfortable using technology like video-streaming, chat boards, and email communications)as they are with the languages that they teach. I can honestly say that there is no difference in learning experience between in-class studies and online classes. I would highly recommend taking advantage of WLC's free introductory lesson ( as I did two years ago), whether it be in the classroom or over the internet.

I highly recommend the World Language Center for anyone who wants to learn a foreign language the fast and easy way. My teacher has been great. Through her dedication and skill, I have achieved a high level degree of fluency in Japanese. She has an amazing way with students, making them feel at ese, while stimulating conversation skills. Her warm and gently style makes learning a new language an enjoyable experience!

I had a great experiecne at WLC. My free time is very limited so I need to work classes into my schedule. WLC staff were incredibly accommodating. They went to great lengths to arrange a schedule that would suit my needs. They had a number of professors to call upon and to give lessons at short notice and on an erractic schecule. My instructor was great. She first of all determined in what type of setting I would be needing my language skills. She then gave lessons that directly met my needs. She made the language learning process fun. My Portuguese greatly improved in just a couple of months. I would strongly recommend WLC. It meets the needs of its clients and gives tremendous vale for money.

I have been a student at World Language Center for about a year now. I can say for certain that my teacher has increased my confidence in speaking Japanese. I had five different teachers in Japan but none of can compare with my teacher. There are good teachers and there are excellent teachers. My teacher belongs in the latter catergory as an extraordinary teacher. It takes a certain type of talent to transfer knowledge, especially in the foreign language domain. My teacher excels in teaching due to all the positive energy she puts out, the commitment she invests in her students, her clear enunciation and the efficient immersion technique she uses. Anyone who has her as a teacher is exceedingly fortunate!

I've been taking French at the WLC for about a year and a half now. I take it at school too, but the world language center gives a much more hands-on approach, which makes learning French easier and more enjoyable. My teacher is great too, and having someone knows the language there helping and fixing your mistakes gets you to learn all the little facts about the language. It is the most effective way to learn French that I've come across.
