Although we won't be able to help your child find his or her locker, at Spanish Immersion Tutoring we will make sure that your child is prepared to step into this new environment better equipped to handle their new social environment and academic curriculum.

Social fears can impede your child's ability to maintain a positive learning experience and negatively affect their academics. Your child is moving from the top of the elementary school heap to the bottom rung of the middle school social ladder. That is why this is a time when being part of a group is very important. Our Future Global Citizen Club will ensure that your child has a support system of their peers that surrounds them with positive and emotional encouragement as well as provides an environment for your child to master the Spanish language.

Along with everything else that’s going on – rollercoaster emotions, physical changes, and social upheaval – your child is also coping with harder classes, more homework, and a whole new set of academic expectations. The transition from elementary school to middle school is one of the most vulnerable and stressful times in a child’s development. .
